Neill Wood, William’s Dad has trouble sleeping! He struggles to switch off at night – this is when he dreamed up the idea of Pyjamaman – a story about William, his son who turns into a superhero in his sleep having read his favourite bedtime story. Neill knows the value of a good night’s sleep but in the first couple of years of being a new Dad he would often find himself awake at night, his head full of ideas that he wanted to bring to life. Once the book was written, it was time to get some illustrations drawn up to bring the characters in the book to life. So Neill turned to his mother, Patricia, William’s Grandma, to create the illustrations for the book. Once the book was complete, Neill penned a song to complete the Pyjamaman storyline.
